Harvest Evening Wine Bar with Gramercy
Even in 2020, sometimes things work out. The tasting room had to go outside on the crush pad, and, damn, it’s pretty cool. Thinking to myself, if we add some lights and music, we would have a pretty cool nighttime wine bar. Hey, wait, I’m a somm! Better yet, we also have three of the best sommeliers from NYC and LA working harvest. Everyone coming to Walla Walla knows they will probably have to sit outside. Definitely, we are doing a wine bar.
Introducing the Gramercy Harvest Bar. (I so want to call this Park Bar. If you know, you know.) Beginning this Friday, September 4th from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm, and every Friday and Saturday night in September, and the first three weekends in October, we will be offering a stupid list of Gramercy by the glass and bottle – some current, some old, most very rare. Our harvest crew doesn’t know it yet, but each somm will host a weekend, selecting some wine and showing off their skills. This week, I’m raiding my cellar and bringing some of my favorites – definitely bubbles, probably Barolo. We can’t legally sell international wines, but we can let you enjoy them.
Reservations are highly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. We have limited seating and have to adhere to social distancing rules, so we can’t guarantee space without a reservation. To make a reservation, please click the Reservations tab on the website or give us a call at the winery.
We still have PTSD from our restaurant days, so we are serving wine only. If you would like to bring outside food and accouterments, you are welcome.
